Solution:
A handful of our customers have come across this error which we have not been able to recreate hence we do not currently have a solution for. The message box suggests that a data file has been opened or blocked by another Windows process running on the computer. While not a ideal solution, a couple of customers who have had this error have suggested that clicking the OK button a few times allows them to proceed to complete the returns and have successfully submitted returns. We suspect this error may be caused by security or file sharing/blocking issue on the computer whereby some processes running on your computer may also be attempting to ‘Read’ and ‘Lock’ a software file. This could be any process such as your anti-virus software, a backup process or one of many Windows processes. While we do not recommend disabling your anti-virus software, most anti-virus software provide an option to exclude specific drives, folders, or files from scanning. Refer to your anti-virus manual or Help file to see how you can manage exceptions within the anti-virus software and temporarily exclude Andica software folder from scan.
