FAQ's » Andica Self Assessment SA100
I am trying to log into the software and it is asking for User name and Password. I cannot remember these details that I have setup after installing the software, can you help me with a solution?
You would have setup 'User name' and 'Password' the first time you started the software after installation. For security of your data, we do not have access to your Username and Password, these are stored on your computer. We can assist you to identify the likely user name that you have setup:
1. User name:
a) Please navigate to the software installation folder you specified during installation of the software. If you had selected the default location, then you would have installed the software in your local drive " C:\Andica\Andica SA Personal 201x\" (Where 201x is the version you are using)
b) Search within this installation folder for a file name "[taxpayername]_sa201x.xml" (where _sa201x is the version you are using) - without the square brackets. The name that appears in "[taxpayername]", exactly as it is with spaces and any other characters, represents your login name. For example, if the file name is "johnsmith_sa2014.xml", then it is very likely that your user name is "johnsmith"
2. Password:
Try the following suggestions:
a) Password is case sensitive, try typing it in upper case and lower case
b) Try leaving the password field blank in case you had not specified any password.
a) Uninstall version 201x (Where 201x is the version you are using) of the software through the 'Control Panel' - 'Add or Remove Programs' - from the list of 'Currently installed programs' select 'Andica Self Assessment Personal' software you want to uninstall and click 'Remove'. If you have more than one entry for 'Andica Self Assessment Personal' software, click on 'Click here for support information' to identify the version number, for example, version 2014 will display version number in format 2014.xx.xx.xxxx
b) Remove any residual files left in the installation folder (default location is C:\Andica\Andica SA Personal 201x\) (Where 201x is the version you are using)
c) Reinstall the software using the setup file you have downloaded when you purchased the software or from the CD.
Software provides a default administrative User name and Password. You will find this in the Readme.rtf and the software User Guide PDF documents.
